PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Ziknes revolutionizes industrial manufacturing with large-format 3D printing and robotics. Our technology combines advanced hardware with Laminar, our proprietary software, that optimizes the process, reducing costs, time, and waste. We focus on sectors such as construction, automotive, aerospace, and defense, offering scalable and efficient solutions.
Our machines allow the manufacture of large parts with technical and recycled materials, guaranteeing quality and precision. With a B2B model based on sales, leasing, and software licensing, we facilitate the adoption of 3D printing in industry, from R&D centers to factories.
With a presence in Europe and global expansion underway, we are committed to sustainability and the circular economy. We work with companies and technology centers to develop recycled materials and new applications, consolidating our position as a leader in large-format 3D printing.
SOLUTION AND TECHNOLOGIES
Ziknes’ solution is based on the integration of industrial robots adapted to large-format 3D printing processes, along with its Z-Core Robot software, specifically developed to automate the generation of printing paths from 3D models. This software allows any 3D design to be converted into a program optimized for printing, significantly reducing setup times.
In addition, Ziknes has developed its own polymer print head, designed to work with materials requiring melting temperatures of up to 400°C, expanding manufacturing possibilities with high-performance materials.
Furthermore, the system features a production process monitoring and traceability module, which records material and energy consumption, execution times, and other relevant parameters in real time, allowing for the generation of specific quality certificates for each manufactured part.
Finally, the integration with industrial robots guarantees precision, repeatability, and robustness in the printing of large-format parts, adapting to the demands of complex industrial environments.
Contributed innovation
Ziknes’s proposal introduces disruptive advances in the field of industrial 3D printing, especially in large-format applications.
On the one hand, it highlights the automation and simplification of the programming process through its Z-Core Robot software, which reduces setup time to less than 10 minutes, making production start-up easier even for inexperienced operators.
Furthermore, the print head developed by the company allows the use of technical polymers with melting temperatures of up to 400°C, opening the door to more demanding industrial applications.
Another key innovation is the comprehensive traceability of the production process, as the system records all relevant data (materials, energy consumption, production times, costs, etc.), generating reports and quality certificates for each manufactured part.
Finally, the use of industrial robots as the basis of the system provides the robustness and precision necessary for large-format 3D printing processes, improving the scalability and reliability of the process. Thanks to these innovations, Ziknes brings advanced additive manufacturing closer to industrial plants, facilitating its adoption in sectors such as automotive, construction, and heavy industry.
