Unimate Flexible Mobile Robot is a flexible, mobile robotic system that combines collaborative robotics, 3D vision, and AGV (automated guided vehicle) technology, enabling a robot to move autonomously around the industrial plant and operate in different workstations with great precision.
This solution facilitates the flow of parts in industrial environments, collaborating safely with operators and performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and handling parts.
The system breaks with the rigidity of fixed workstations, bringing mobility and flexibility to production processes and adapting to changing work environments.
SOLUTION AND TECHNOLOGIES
Unimate is a flexible mobile robot that combines collaborative robotics, machine vision, and autonomous navigation, offering an advanced solution for industrial process automation.
The system integrates a collaborative robotic arm that enables safe interaction with operators, enabling collaborative work in handling and assembly tasks. This direct collaboration with personnel increases the robot’s versatility and expands its range of applications.
Unimate is equipped with 3D vision technology, which allows it to precisely locate parts, identify work positions, and perform pick and place operations with great accuracy. This capability is especially useful in loading, unloading, and assembly processes.
In addition, the robot features an integrated AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), which provides autonomous movement between different workstations, dynamically adapting to changes in the production environment.
The solution is complemented by autonomous navigation and vision-guided positioning systems, which ensure the robot moves and positions itself precisely at each intervention point, minimizing risks and optimizing cycle times.
