nMotion Industrial is a technological solution developed by NSILICA to improve safety, ergonomics, and efficiency in industrial and automotive environments through the digitalization of human movement. It is designed for manual operations involving physical strain, repetitive tasks, or interaction with complex production environments, where operators work alongside machinery, robots, AGVs, or other risk-related elements. The project transforms the way manual tasks are evaluated, moving from occasional observations or inconsistent criteria to data-driven decision-making based on real execution data
Solution & technologies:
The solution combines wearable hardware with inertial sensors, proprietary electronics, and an analysis software platform capable of recording and interpreting postures, joint ranges, repetitions, speeds, execution patterns, and variability among operators. The system generates objective metrics applicable to ergonomics, occupational risk prevention, industrial safety, training, process improvement, workstation redesign, and operation standardization. In addition, it enables the creation of real movement datasets associated with tasks, shifts, or operator profiles, opening the door to operation simulation and future AI-based predictive models.
