Macco Robotics develops intelligent humanoid robots with applications in automotive, industrial, and hospitality sectors. In the industrial field, its proposal focuses on humanoids capable of adapting in real time to factory needs, performing repetitive or support tasks in changing production environments. The company builds on experience in industrial robotics and proposes a solution aimed at increasing automation flexibility in factories where changes in product, workstation, or process mean that traditional robotic solutions require long programming and integration times.
Solution & technologies:
The technological platform is based on humanoid robots such as Kime, equipped with perception systems using RGB-D cameras, ultrasonic sensors, Wi-Fi for maintenance, USB, Bluetooth, and JSON API and MQTT protocols. The software is built on ROS 2 Humble, Python, and C++, with capabilities in computer vision, task planning, object recognition, operational interaction, and behavior reconfiguration by the technical team. It also incorporates force and contact detection through monitoring torque anomalies in servomotors, avoiding reliance on fragile tactile sensors.
Artificial intelligence systems based on LLM robotics are used for interaction and decision-making.
